The Planning Commission of Arthur Township will conduct a public hearing at a meeting of the Planning Commission on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the Arthur Township Hall, 3031 S. Athey Avenue, Clare, MI 48617, for the purpose of discussing a request for a Special Use Permit submitted by Samuel Troyer, concerning land located at 4788 S. Bailey Lake Rd (Parcel No. 012-027-400-05) (the “Property”). The applicant is requesting a Special Use Permit to use the Property for a commercial purpose to operate a sawmill in the Township’s AG / RR – Agricultural / Rural Residential Zoning District. The Planning Commission may also consider any other business that comes before it.
The Township will receive written comments concerning the request for a Special Use Permit at the Arthur Township Hall, 3031 S Athey Avenue, Clare, MI 48617. Comments must be received by the Township prior to the start of the public hearing on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 6:00 p.m.
