PUBLIC HEARING ON SPECIAL LAND USE PERMIT AND SITE PLAN APPLICATION – CEDAR FIELDS SOLAR PARK
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing of the Arthur Township Board will be held on February 9, 2026, during their regular board meeting at 7:00 p.m., at the Arthur Township Hall, located at 3031 S. Athey Ave, Clare, Michigan 48617.
At this meeting, the Township Board will consider and hold a public hearing on an application for special land use and site plan approval for a utility-scale solar energy facility submitted by DTE Energy Company, known as “Cedar Fields Solar Park,” and
consider any other business that comes before the Township Board.
Copies of the application may be examined at the Arthur Township Hall during regular business hours or by appointment. Written comments concerning the special land use and site plan application may be submitted to the Arthur Township Clerk at the address listed below. Written comments must be received by the Township prior to the start of the public hearing.
This notice is given in compliance with Public Act 267 of 1976, as amended (Michigan Open Meetings Act), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Public Act 246 of 1945.
Arthur Township will provide reasonable auxiliary aids and services to individuals with disabilities upon reasonable notice to the Township. Requests for such accommodations should be made to the Township Clerk.
